Hi, I've been living in Denpasar for nearly 2 years and my Wife is Indonesian. I am now thinking of bringing my Mother over from Perth for a 2 month holiday. Being a realist, and realising my Mother is nearly 99, I must address the fact of her possible passing whilst here, and I know nothing with regard to a Christian service or Cremation facilities and costings. I am her only family and I seek advice. Thanks...ROY

this is far too important to rely on blog info. why not go to the source?

    ... ri immigrasi
... the sky pilot at whatever local flavour gereja your mother belongs
    ... the oz consul

maybe these people could give some pertinent info http://www.immigrationindonesia.com/bali-prepaid-funeral-plan.html

ps. obviously a 30 day voa is not applicable for your mother. you'll/she'll need to apply for the 60 day social visa in perth.

    ask them.

Thank you, Shorty for your time and your help. The information you have provided has opened a number of doors and I am pursuing those leads.
I obtain a 2 month Visa regularly and my Mother has previously been here on such a Visa so this would not be a problem. However, I am about to investigate a retirement Visa for myself.
I would still l.ike to hear from anybody who has been through this situation before. Thank you, again, Shorty - I am indebted to you
