Driver at the Airport

   Hi all, I usually rent a car on Bali but my next trip will be a short one and I need a ride to my destination which will be Klungkung and then Sidemen. I know there are fixed price taxis available outside the terminal, but they are expensive. Is it easy for me to find someone hanging around a negotiate a price (I'm told RP300K one way is about right), or should I take the fixed price taxis? I don't want to arrange this ahead of time, so no driver recommendations needed for now.

   If I have come in on the "red eye" I usually get the fixed price guys. to Ubud last time, RP 100,000 which I thought was a great price. Also for safety, I would lean toward hiring them, rather than a random person, to drive all the way to Sidemen. If you choose the random way, make sure u get their details, licence etc, so they are aware you are in control.

   Thanks PS. That is a good price. I've only taken those taxis to Kuta and I think it was RP50K but I never checked other destinations.
