New to the forum (a friend said you all are super helpful)...my husband and I are moving to Bali in the next few weeks (currently in Jogja). I'm a researcher and he'll be working with an MFI in Denpasar. We're looking for a comfortable long-term rental in an area that's not too expatty and looking to pay around 4juta/month (can pay 5juta/month if neccessary). Can someone recommend any areas that are within 30 minutes or so from Denpasar, but not super crowded? Villas, apts. or houses will work. Close to the water would be great!
