Looking for an affordable spirt shop in Bali

   Hi, I will have my wedding reception in Bali next October and I'm looking if someone know where I can buy spirits to an affordable and decent price?

   Appreciated in advance!

   Well if some of the 5 star bars refill original bottles with Mansion House & Robinsons you could always do the same. You could
   also say no presents but a bottle of spirit of your choice appreciated
   So much for the cynical suggestions.
   My fav. is toko Kawin Jaya Jl. Buni sari 50 metres from bemo corner. Nice people
   and you can bargain for quantity. best wishes for your wedding.

   Ha ha eagle! Mansion House and Robinsons, that's a good one! (The rum is especially foul.) Even that stuff, which is slightly better than nothing (OK with fresh fruit juice and lotsa ice) can be hard to find depending on where you are.

   There is no cheap imported liquor to be found on island. Even the local Mansion/Robinsons piss is relatively pricey. Bring what hard stuff you can with you, and as eagle suggests, ask your guests to do the same. The local wines (eg Singaraja Hills White, Hatten Rose) are not that cheap but quite palatable if VERY chilled! Singaraja even has a cork. Beer, on the other hand, is very cheap...let us know what you come up with!

   there is a brand now made under license (it says) vodka and gin are drinkable called gilbeys , around 220 a bottle make lots of cocktails. bourbon jim beam can be bought when lucky at around 330 a bottle
