   Can anyone give me the name of the popular real estate lawyer that
   resides in Bali he deals with many property transactions for foreign owners.ny leads would help.

   A very reputable company is Austrindo, on the Ngurah Rai bypass next to the BIMC. The company is owned by an Australian lawyer, who has an excellent reputation. They won't be the cheapest company you might consult, but they will be very efficient.

   balidi, I take it that you have had a long term relationship with Austrindo.
   The problem is you don't know what the problems are until years after you paid the bill. Also you need to be careful that the notaris you use is at arms length from the other party. I mean not family,from the same village, mates or getting a commission. I know of examples where Austrindo has acted for both parties at the same time which is highly unlikely except for Bali. No bad words intended they might chase me.

   Yes, Peter Johnson runs Austrindo, he is from Western Australia, and is well known here in Perth by lawyers as a very reputable lawyer. We dealt with that company, with no problems, other than sometimes things went a little slowly, but it's Bali. I have not heard of anything untoward about their company ever.

   Hi Balidi, my wife and I used Peter Johnson about 8 years ago when we bought our house in Tuban, he was so helpfull and everything was done to a T. We would go back to him tomorrow but no need, He is married to an Indonesian lady who is excellant as well
