It was interstin reading in the Indo. press that Shapelle Leigh Corby was was amongst the 19 of 195 Christians who were eligible for sentence cuts on Christmas day. However she failed to attend the Christmas day service when the remissions were to be handed out. Siswanto, the warden at Kerobokan Prison said Corby's action will hurt her chances of actually receiving the sentence cut.
Her remission proposal is subject to a further review by the Director General of Correction. Siswanto said Corby is "... a naughty child, unappreciative of Kerobokan Penitentiary." I wonder if this means she will be shifted? In her defence she said that she did not attend because journalists were covering the the remission ceremony. What a pity for her she did not do the right thing and attend the service.
Shapelle Again!

hi eagle
i don't want to open up the whole corby debate/industry, just restrict my comment to this post.
she had a choice - go/not go. she chose not to. she would have been aware of the potential outcome. she has to live with it. fair/unfair is immaterial.
shifted - i doubt it - i think the 'unappreciative' comment was a reminder that good behaviour and attitude are rewarded.
